Rental or loan car following an accident
For a small increase in your premium, if your car is damaged in an accident NAB Car Insurance can provide for a rental or loan car, or if a rental or loan car is not available, you will be paid a daily travel allowance of $30. The maximum daily rental charge payable is $75. The rental or loan car benefit is provided for a maximum of 14 days. Conditions and exclusions apply.
Restricted driver
When the restricted driver option applies, you are not covered for any accidental loss, damage or liability, which results in a claim, when the driver of your vehicle was a person under 30 years of age.
Your claim will not be refused if the driver of your vehicle:
- is guilty of the theft or illegal use of your vehicle; or
- was a person paid by you to repair, service to test your vehicle; or
- was an attendant at a car park
Protected no claim bonus
If you are entitled to a maximum No Claim Bonus (NCB), you are entitled to one at fault claim in any one policy period without penalty to the maximum NCB. Note: If you are under 25 years of age you are not entitled to maximum NCB protection.
Removal of basic excess for windscreen claims
If only the windscreen or window glass in your vehicle is accidentally broken, you will not have to pay any excess for that claim, even if an excess would otherwise apply. Your no claim bonus entitlement is not affected. This option is limited to one claim per policy period of insurance.
