About Ant Rewards

 What is Ant Rewards?
Ant Rewards is the rewards program of the NAB AntTM American Express® Card with Rewards. Enjoy a great range of rewards including transferring points to Qantas Frequent Flyer, points for credit1 or points for travel with Harvey World Travel. All you'll need to decide is whether to choose the regular NAB Ant American Express Card with Rewards or the Gold Ant American Express Card with Rewards. 

How much does it cost?

  • NAB Ant American Express Card with Rewards has an annual card fee of $99 2
  • NAB Gold Ant American Express Card with Rewards has an annual card fee of $148 2

Earning

 How do I earn Ant Rewards points?
Use your Ant Card with Rewards and earn points on eligible purchases.3 Plus, earn bonus points through ourbonus point providers.

 How many points can I earn?
You can earn unlimited points with your Ant Card with Rewards as long as your account remains open.

 How can I earn points faster?
From 1 August 2006 to 31 January 2008, you'll earn 1.5 points for every $1 you spend on eligible purchases. From 1 February 2008, you'll earn 1 point for every $1 spent on eligible purchases.3 Maximise your points all year round by earning bonus points at Ant Rewardsbonus point providers.

 How can I check my points balance?
We'll send you regular statements to let you know how many points you have earned. Or, simply give us a call on 1300 656 364, 8am - 8pm EST Monday to Friday.

 How long are my points valid?
There is no points expiry as long as your NAB Ant Rewards Program account remains open.

 How do I redeem my points?
Just call us on 1300 656 364, 8am - 8pm EST, Monday to Friday and we'll organise your redemption over the phone.

 What's the redemption rate for Qantas Frequent Flyer points?
Redeem 1 point for 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer point.5

 How many points do I need to redeem other rewards?
You can redeem:

  • travel vouchers for Harvey World Travel Services from 5,556 points
  • $100 credit to your card from 12,500 points.

  1. Credit is available for your use provided your account is in sufficient credit. You still need to make the minimum payment required by your NAB American Express Card Terms and Conditions.
  2. Annual card fees are subject to change. Correct as at 1 July 2007. View full details of fees and charges.
  3. Excludes cash advances (including bills paid over the counter at a bank, financial institution or post office and purchases of travellers cheques) or when a NAB Ant American Express Card with Rewards is used as a debit card to access linked accounts or transactions we decide are wholly or partly for a business purpose. Also excludes fees and charges (including government fees and charges), interest charges, transactions which are disputed, fraudulent or involve abuse of your NAB Ant American Express Card with Rewards account, payments and purchases which are refunded or reimbursed. 
  4. All travel is booked through travel rewards provider Harvey World Travel Service Centre ABN 77 094 188 100.
  5. You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program in order to redeem points for Qantas Frequent Flyer points. Membership of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. A joining fee applies. Requests for redemption must be in multiples of 1,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points.

Other important information

A credit card offers you great flexibility and convenience. But it’s important to remember, like any debt, you will have to repay it. If you are unsure as to whether you will be able to manage repayments for a new credit card, then you should not consider taking up a NAB credit card at this point in time.
