Protect yourself with password lock
NAB is committed to helping you bank online confidently and securely, no matter where you are or what computer you use. In addition to the protection of SMS Security, we’ve introduced an extra layer of protection for NAB Internet Banking called Password Lock.
By enabling you to manually lock and unlock your Internet Banking password, your account is only accessible when you need it to be. This is particularly useful for situations where the computer environment is not within your control, such as in libraries, airport lounges or an internet café when you’re overseas.
Using this feature, you can lock your password before you log out of internet banking. Then your account can only be accessed again after you choose to unlock it again by calling 1300 651 656 (or +61 3 8641 9886 outside Australia) and entering your Telephone Banking password.
Password Lock offers peace of mind and control over the level of protection you wish to adopt when banking with NAB.
Note: You must know your Telephone Banking password to be able to unlock your Internet Banking password via NAB Telephone Banking. If you don't remember your Telephone Banking password, you will need to call the Internet Banking support team.
