A Funds transfer allows you to do your banking fast and efficiently. Some examples of how you can save time by using the Funds transfer service instead of visiting a branch include:
- making a funds transfer to your linked NAB Credit Card account
- making an extra payment to your linked National Loan*
- transferring money between your linked NAB accounts to cover cheques or payments that need to be made
- making a transfer directly to the account of a friend, relative or payee at NAB or any financial institution in Australia.
Note 1: You can transfer from any linked NAB account to any Bankcard account at any financial institution in Australia. You cannot transfer to MasterCard or Visa Card accounts at any financial institution in Australia using "Pay anyone". You will need to use the Bill payment function for these transactions.
Note 2: You should always check with the payee before transferring money directly to their account. Some payees only accept payments in specific ways, such as by cheque.
* A prepayment fee and economic cost (if applicable) will also apply each time there is a pre-payment to a fixed rate loan. Speak to your National Banker for further details.
