When you login to NAB Internet Banking for the first time, an account's nickname will default as its account number, e.g. 082-762 45-036-5676.
You can assign a nickname to each of your accounts to make them easier for you to recognise. This nickname is used only within NAB Internet Banking and does not affect the name of the account as it appears in the documentation (e.g. statements and chequebooks) that you receive from NAB.
To change your account nicknames:
-
click on my settings on the main menu, then click on the modify account nicknames sub-menu option.
-
Enter your nickname for an account in the relevant account nicknames field (you will need to overtype the existing nickname).
NB: An account nickname can be up to 30 alphanumeric characters. You can change one or more account nicknames at the same time.
The account(s) have been saved with the new nickname(s).
Alternatively, you can click on the Reset button to retain the original account nicknames.
