Reduced Daily Limits

At NAB we take protecting your online security seriously. We work with law enforcement agencies, close down scam websites, monitor accounts for suspicious activity and offer free SMS security which uses your mobile phone to protect against fraud.

To further protect your money, from 20 July 2006 the combined daily Internet Banking transfer limit for customers who have not registered for SMS security will be $2500 for:

  • Funds transfers out of your own accounts to other financial institutions
  • Funds transfers out of your own accounts to other NAB accounts not linked to you
  • BPAY Bill payments to a biller where the money can then be withdrawn (such as a credit card)  View list of billers.

To register, call the Internet Banking Support Team on 1300 651 656 and select option 1 after entering your NAB ID and password or contact your banker.
