CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Definitions:
1. “Account” means a NAB Low Rate Visa Card, NAB Standard Visa Card, NAB Visa Mini Card or Velocity NAB Standard Credit Card account held by the Eligible Entrant.
2. “Eligible Entrant” means a person who applies for a new NAB Credit Card as defined above during the Promotion Period via nab.com.au/infiltrate; and whose application is approved and their Account is established by 30/06/08 at 11:59pm (EST).
3. “Eligible Purchase” means a retail purchase made using the Account but excludes: cash advances (including bills paid over the counter at a bank, financial institution or post office), the purchase of travellers cheques, use of a debit card to access linked accounts; business transactions; credit charges; annual or other NAB fees; government charges; and unauthorised transactions for which the holder of the Account is not liable.
4. “Promoter” means National Australia Bank Limited (ABN 12 004 044 937), Level 24, 500 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
5. “Promotion Period” means the period between 01/05/2008 at 00:01 (EST) and 30/06/2008 at 11:59pm (EDST).
6. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the terms and conditions of entry (“Conditions of Entry”). Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of the Conditions of Entry.
7. Entry is open to Eligible Entrants who are Australian residents and aged 18 years or over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its subsidiaries and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
8. An Eligible Entrant will automatically receive one entry into the Prize Draw once an Eligible Purchase has been debited to the Account before by 11:59pm (EDST) on 31/07/2008. Eligible Entrants are entitled to one entry into the prize draw only for each Account. The primary cardholder of an Account will be deemed the entrant.
9. An Eligible Entrant will not be eligible for any prize if their Account is in default, as defined by the NAB Credit Cards Terms and Conditions, at any time from the start of the Promotion Period until the Prize Draw. Eligible Entrants must meet all minimum payments on any relevant statement of account by the respective due date. The Account must be open at the time of the Prize Draw.
10. The Prize Draw will take place at 12:00pm (EDST) on 21/08/2008 at belong, Level 8, 155 George Street, Sydney NSW. All prize winners (“Prize Winners”) (and Back-Up winners as provided in clause 14) will be selected in accordance with this clause. Winners are selected at random electronically.
11. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. Subject to these Conditions of Entry, the first Eligible Entrant drawn will be the Prize Winner and win the NAB Consumer Promotion Prize Package.
13. The next two Eligible Entrants drawn will be held as Back-Up winners. Back-up winners will be recorded in the order drawn and used only in the instance that the Prize Winner is ineligible. The Prize will be awarded to the next Back-Up winner in the order in which they were drawn. A Back-Up winner will not receive the Prize, except pursuant to this clause.
14. The NAB Socceroos Greatest Transfer Prize Package (the “Prize”) will include:
• Two tickets to the Australia World Cup qualifying match in September 2008, in Australia. The date and location will be confirmed when the winner is contacted;
• Return Economy Flights for two to the match location from the Prize winners nearest capital city, plus transfers to and from the airport;
• Three nights’ accommodation. Accommodation to be selected by the Promoter and will include breakfast;
• Access to a Socceroos training session;
• Meet and greet with selected members of the Socceroos team;
• Signed Socceroos merchandise.
15. The Prize is valued at up to $10,000 (depending on point of departure)
16. If the Prize Winner is not from the state the Socceroos match will be played in, the prize includes return economy airfares from the Prize Winner's nearest capital city to match location. If the Prize Winner is from the state where the match will take place, then the prize does not include airfares or additional transfers, and these components of the prize are not redeemable for cash.
17. Additional spending money, additional meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Prize must be taken on the dates to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, subject to availability, must be taken no later than date of match and is subject to booking and flight availability. During the entire duration of the prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. The winner and companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent Flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in.
18. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason the winner does not, once the Prize has been booked, take the Prize or an element of the Prize at the time stipulated, then the Prize or that element of the Prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
19. The Prize Winner will be contacted in writing and by telephone by the Promoter (at the contact details held by the Promoter for the Account) within 1 business day of the Prize allocation to:
_a) notify the Prize Winner that his/her name has been successful in the promotion;
b) confirm whether the Prize Winner is eligible to win under these Conditions of
Entry; and
c) confirm whether the Prize Winner wishes to claim his/her Prize.
20. The Prize Winner must confirm their eligibility under these Conditions of Entry and claim his/her prize within 7 days of being notified that he/she is the Prize Winner, provided that if the Prize Winner is resident in the State of South Australia or in the ACT at the date of the relevant Prize Draw, such Prize Winner may claim his/her Prize within 3 months of the draw.
21. Details of the Prize Winner will be published in the public notice section of The Australian newspaper on 26/08/2008.
22. If the Prize Winner (apart from a Prize Winner who is a resident of the State of South Australia) fails to comply with Condition 21 (and subject to these Conditions of Entry) the Prize Winner will be deemed to have forfeited his/her Prize. A re-allocation of the Prize to Back-up Winners will then be conducted to award the forfeited Prize. The Prize Winner of this re-allocation will be notified by phone and mail and results published in The Australian newspaper on 26/08/2008.
23. If the Prize Winner is a resident of the state of South Australia at the time of the draw and does not claim the Prize within 3 months of the prize allocation, the Promoter shall allocate the Prize as may be necessary at the same place and time as the original draw on 21/11/2008 to distribute any Prize unclaimed by that date subject to any written direction given under Reg. 37 of the Lotteries and Gaming Act 1993 (SA). The Prize Winner under this clause will be notified by mail, and will be awarded a Prize subject to these Conditions of Entry. Results of such further draws (if necessary) will be published in The Australian newspaper on 26/11/2008.
24. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
25. If the Prize (or any part of the Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
26. The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable, divisible or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
27. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
28. The Promoter cannot provide advice on specific tax issues. The Promoter recommends that independent tax advice and legal advice on any tax implications arising from winning a Prize should be sought. In the event that any Prize is subject to tax, the Promoter will not be liable for any additional tax payable by the winner.
29. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any application or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in the Conditions of Entry; (e) in the event that the Supplier is unavailable to participate in the Prize for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) use of the Prize.
30. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in any publicity arrangements made by or on behalf of the Promoter in relation to this Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to publicise the winner’s name, suburb, date of win, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

The Promoter (National Australia Bank Limited) will be using your existing customer details to enter you in this competition ("Information"). The Information will be used by the Promoter to conduct this competition. Please contact the Promoter if you would like to access or correct the Information that the Promoter holds about you. The Promoter will generally provide you with access to your Information if practicable (although a fee may be imposed).
