What's the deal?

As an Agribusiness Graduate, country Australia is your office. For the first three months you'll be working in either of the thriving regional hubs of Albury (NSW) or Toowoomba (QLD). After that, you'll be heading off to one of our 110 locations (in NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, and WA) where you'll be learning all the basic skills you'll need to become an agribusiness analyst.

You'll be assisting an Agribusiness Manager look after a portfolio of agribusiness clients whilst experiencing a diverse range of agricultural industries and gaining a solid understanding of the unique financial needs of agricultural businesses. Rotations thoughout our Agribusiness Credit Centres will see you gain sound analytical skills, while self-paced credit assessment and negotiation skills training will consolidate your knowledge. As part of your training, you'll be required to complete an analyst relief placement, where you'll be working with customers both in the office and out on the farm.

Yes, it'll be a steep learning curve, and at times you'll be far away from home, but that doesn't mean you'll be alone. At NAB, our graduates get all the support and nurturing they need to reach their full potential, including mentoring from senior business leaders, on-the-job training with supervisors, formal training at learning centres, computer-based training, and the support and encouragement of previous graduates through our buddy system.

If you have the skills, drive and determination, ongoing analyst or credit analyst roles will be yours for the taking, with management roles just 3-6 years away.

Where do you come from?

We recruit graduates from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines, but prefer people with a degree in Agriculture or related disciplines.

A background in farming will be highly regarded.
